Welcome to Cambridge Broadcast, a company inspired by witnessing many years of sluggish development in technologies used for broadcasting and a very real resistance to this technology by broadcast engineers and managers. Producers frustrated at the cost of implementing technologies which seemed standard in their day to day lives, high quality pictures and video on a mobile phone for example are key drivers to our company. We now have the Go -Pro, the DJI phantom drone, miniature gyro cameras, all in effect domestic level technologies which seem to have overtaken what is available to professional programme makers and producers.
Cambridge Broadcast is working on some groundbreaking new applications of this technology. We are not re-inventing the wheel, and this will be apparent from our approach and pricing strategies. We do not expect a single production to pay for our development, we will be working on a speculative and clearly focussed approach. The basic methodology of Cambridge Broadcast is to listen to what the end user (the producer) wants and deliver it.
As engineers we should be delivering solutions, engineering should be driven by the creative side of TV, we are not producers and that is the drive behind Cambridge broadcast.
With over 33 years of broadcast experience working very closely with production teams which had a clear picture in their mind of what they wanted to do, but no direct and affordable path to reach it, our aim is to unleash this huge power into the broadcast field.
Cambridge broadcast has a wide ranging offering, not only do we sell Satellite (SNG) trucks, but we repair, maintain and modify them to customers specifications. We have sold several units to customers in Europe, Sri Lanka, Burma and the middle east, with deposits on further units to be prepared for shipment. All our SNG Trucks are tested and working, and we are happy to make modifications to customer specifications. Cambridge broadcast also offers high level consultancy services to major broadcasters and production companies. We can provide bespoke solutions for any production and a managed service if required.
Anything from the smallest camera to the most complex outside broadcast.
So if you think we can make your project idea become a reality, please drop us a note via our contact us page.
